Asian-Style Baby CarriersStretchy Body FabricA carrier body made with stretch fabric will have a bit of a give, allowing a bit more freedom to wiggle even when the straps are pulled tight. It's a good idea to pair fabrics with similar stretch, but you don't have to do so. Pairing a stretch fabric with a non-stretch fabric will essentially create a non-stretch carrier. Stretch fabrics typically incorporate a small amount of spandex in the weave.
