Welcome to Theran Weyr, a new Dragonriders of Pern™ fan fiction writing club set in the Shared Tenth Pass. Our Weyr is located in the Two-Faced Mountain, and we write with other weyrs in this timeline. For a complete listing of Shared Tenth Pass Clubs click here. Theran Weyr is an officially sanctioned Pern club.
Our activities center around collaborative story writing and private email role-play set in an alternate version of Anne McCaffrey's Pern. Essentially, members create personas who live on Pern and write about them.
Participation in our email RP's is restricted to members, only. In addition, only members of Theran Weyr may receive stories written for the club. No copies of the 'zine, Tales from the Two-Faced Mountain, may be sold to people who do not belong to Theran Weyr.
Theran Weyr abides by the rules Anne McCaffrey has set out for Pern clubs. These rules are in place to protect her copyright. If you would like more information about what is and is not allowed in club formation, please visit her official website. We also include the basics in our Weyr Manual.
