How to Become a Member

· First, submit your membership form.

· Then, all you have to do is create a persona and join in on the fun!

Mailing List General Information

· Our mailing lists are hosted by YahooGroups.

· The main list is announcements and general member chat mailing list for Theran Weyr.

· The private lists include our main RP list and our Weyrling Training RP list

· Please keep in mind that characters in an RP will act just like they would in submitted stories.. Be prepared to accept the consequences of what your character does with or to others in an RP.

Writing

· If you would like to be more active than simply doing role-play, you can write stories about your persona for publication in our tri-annual fanzine, Tales from the Two-Faced Mountain. You can also collaborate with other club members so that your persona can interact with the other member's personas' in a more solid way than is possible in an RP.

· Anne McCaffrey has a list of rules, which Theran Weyr members must follow. Any questions on the rules and regulations contact Cindy at irilyn@yahoo.com

· The Weyr also has a brief writer's guide for members who write stories.

· If you are an artist, we would love to have artwork from you to print in the fanzine. We would also like to see poetry from you, if you write poems.

Ranking Characters

· The support requirements for ranking characters are listed here.

· If you are interested in writing a non-goldrider character who holds one of these positions, please look at our Winglist to see which ranking positions are available. and include a detailed persona sheet.

· Theran's Policy on Goldriders: Theran Weyr does not accept applications for goldrider characters. In this club, the leadership selects goldrider candidates from among the active and supportive members. If you want to become a goldrider here, please join the club, be active, get to know the members and let them know you, and have a good time! Then email your interest to Cindy (irilyn@yahoo.com) to be presented to the other leaders of Theran.
